How Sillage Doré works

Sillage Doré is an independent magazine about high-end vaping, written in English for readers in the United Kingdom. We look closely at machined mods, signature kits, premium brands, chipsets and finishes, to work out what the price of a device really buys and what it merely dresses up.

Our editorial line

No hype and no superlatives. We write about what matters in use, the quality of the machining, the precision of the electronics, how a coating holds up over time, and we always keep what a manufacturer claims apart from what you can actually expect from the device. When a piece of information is missing, we say so rather than guess.

Who writes it

Articles carry the byline of Constance Aubrac. She follows high-end vaping hardware and pays attention to the details a spec sheet never shows, how a mod ages, how fine an adjustment is, how much care has gone into a finish.

Our independence

Sillage Doré takes no payment from manufacturers in exchange for coverage. Affiliate links or sponsored pieces may exist; they are labelled as such and never shape what we write.
